I recently upgraded my Nikon D80 for a Nikon D800E, using a macro lens 60mm I took this picture of a spider sitting in my window. The original will print at a 1:1 ration of over 40 inches by 30 inches, and just demonstrates the quality of both the camera and the high resolution images it can take. The original Raw Image was a little over 50mb, so a 16gb memory card will hold approx 200 images, as opposed to the 1200+ that my D80 could retain.

In terms of the spider, I was really taken by the markings on it’s back, and reminded me of a chess set when I was younger.
