Ok, may be not, but I’ve found a few hundred photo’s of my time spent in Germany, I found this message was on the side of a building.

“Wiedersehen auf dem Alex, Hundekälte. Nächstes Jahr, 1929, wird’s noch kälter”

Which roughly translates to :-

Goodbye Alex to the Freezing Cold, next year, 1929, it gets colder.

Anyone know the story behind this?
