The current released version is:- V1.8 Build (1814) For WindowsXP/Vista/7 and 8, However please note that development has started up again for this application and a later Beta version is available, click this link to get details of the latest Beta Release.
The current build 1814 temporarily removed Daily Play but should resolve the internet 500 error whilst the Results Website is down.

This tool will retrieve the UK National Lottery Results via an internet connection and check your tickets/syndicate entries against previous results. It also Includes a Syndicate Manager for managing your work/team/family syndicate.

Hi Jason, Ive used the lottery checker for a few years. Will you be updating it for the new numbers? Great software.
Hi Mark, the software will currently download the latest results including the new numbers, but currently unable to add these numbers via the ticket checker. The software is very dated and needs a complete re-write. At the moment my real job takes all my time. Unfortunately I would say unlikely in the short term, sorry it’s not the answer you’re looking for. I will look to see if a quick fix/win can be made to the code.

HI Mark, I’ve had a look at what is needed to upgrade the software to take into account the additional balls. I have uploaded Build 1826 which updates the Ticket Checker to include the new rules that came into effect in October 2015. The statistics screen still needs work, but feedback/bugs appreciated.

Sorry for the rather delayed reply… only about 13 years late! 😄
Thank you for your kind words back then, I really appreciated them. Life rather got in the way and, over the years, I managed to lose several versions of the source code, so the project went quiet for far longer than I ever intended.
The good news is it’s now very much alive again. I’ve recreated the missing source, rewritten large parts of the application, added a completely redesigned Ticket Checker, brought Syndicate Management back, integrated Hot Picks, improved the statistics, and now use real historical prize data for calculations.
There are still a few things to finish before release, but it’s finally nearing the point where I can share it again. Hopefully it’ll be worth the wait!

Yes, it’s certainly changed quite a bit this year. Supporting the new Lotto format has been one of the bigger pieces of work, along with updating the prize calculations to use the actual historical prize fund data rather than estimates.
I’ve also rebuilt large parts of the application, added around 30,000 lines of new code, redesigned the Ticket Checker, brought Syndicate Management back, integrated Hot Picks, and added a whole range of new statistics and analysis.
One feature that’s proving quite interesting is what I’ve nicknamed the “Demoraliser”! It works out how much you’ve spent playing a particular set of numbers over time, how much they’ve won, and whether you’re actually ahead or behind. It can make for some eye-opening reading!
I’m hoping to have a beta ready very soon, so hopefully you’ll be able to take it for a spin and let me know what you think.

Good to see you have made another version.
With this version, if you inadvertently save as Wed & Sat, there does not appear to be a way to remove the Wed?
If I reload the saved numbers, remove the Wed tick in the checkbox, and save as something else, it still keeps the Wed, which we have never played on? My mistake, but was expecting to just amend later.

Blimey, it’s been a long time! Sorry I completely missed your comment.
You’re absolutely right, that was a bug in the old version. Once a Wednesday flag had been saved there wasn’t a proper way to remove it afterwards. It should have been clearing the flag when you unticked it, but it wasn’t.
I’m not sure whether desktop lottery software is still relevant in the age of mobile apps, but I decided to resurrect the project anyway. I managed to recreate the five versions of source code I’d lost and have rewritten large sections of the application from scratch.
The new version includes a completely redesigned Ticket Checker, the return of Syndicate Management, integrated Hot Picks, accurate prize calculations using real historical prize data, improved statistics, and quite a few other additions.
There’s still plenty of testing to finish and the manual needs updating, but if you have a look at the screenshots on this page you’ll get an idea of where it’s heading. I’m aiming for a release towards the end of August, and I’m currently sourcing additional results for Set For Life, Powerball and other games. Hot Picks is now built in as well.

Thanks Paul. You’re right, the old 1814 download has disappeared over the years. I’ll remove the dead links shortly.
The good news is the new version is getting very close to release, and I’ll soon be looking for a few beta testers before making it generally available.
It’s had a huge amount of work since the last release, including a completely redesigned Ticket Checker, the return of Syndicate Management, integrated Hot Picks, vastly improved statistics and analysis (including heatmaps, trends and hot/cold numbers), accurate historical prize calculations, and support for many more lottery games. I’ve also rebuilt much of the code from scratch after recovering several lost versions of the project.
Keep an eye on the website over the next few weeks—hopefully it won’t be long now!
