Wonderful, Wonderful, Copenhagen!
I had the good fortune of visiting Copenhagen, and my childish sense of humour couldn’t resist the road sign above :). The pictures were taken with an old fujifilm camera, I really should go back and edit them in Lightroom !
At the time of visiting, it was the start of a 200 year celebration of the life and works of Hans Christian Anderson.
Tivoli gardens hosted puppeteers who acted out one of Hans’ many stories each evening. What I found amazing was the scale and size of these puppets, some took several actors to balance and move, and all with precision. A lot of effort had clearly gone on to providing this entertainment to the public.
The atmosphere amazing, with live brass bands, restaurants, and various entertainment laid on, it was worth visiting if not a little expensive.
