View of the Millennium Dome / O2 Arena from the Cable Car

My hotel was a short hop skip and a jump near the Emirates Cable Car which takes you over the River Thames to the O2 Arena.  What an awesomely fantastic ride and views of London this ride provides!  At the time of travel the cost was £8.60 for a return “Flight” if purchased direct from the counter, or £9 from the automated machines (Single journeys are about half the price).  If the queues are small, you’ll save a bit of money purchasing from the desk.

If you take a black cab, then it cost around £20 for a one way trip.

Travelling at night, and you see the skyline and buildings lit up like a Christmas tree in December, and for comparison I took another photo during the day, it was a bit foggy though.
