Merry Christmas 2022

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Having tried to be more organised this year, I took advantage of my various 3D Printers to produce some tacky plastic gifts for friends this year, and was surprised how well these were taken up by those of you lucky enough the postie bothered to pop them in your letter boxes…. Apologies everyone else, I’m hoping they’ll arrive before easter…

Everything was posted out on or before 10th December, using a combination of Special Delivery, International, Tracked 24 and First Class…

Even with industrial action, I didn’t expect that many of those parcels are still stuck in the originating mail centre 🤦🏼‍♂️ It would suggest that Royal Fail didn’t have an adequate system in place for dealing with mail collected first, no stock rotation I would guess.

Surely you were unlucky? I hope so, but the evidence suggests otherwise….

Special Delivery Collected by my Postie on the 10th and 12th December going to the same location down south. The one on the 12th was received next day, the one on the 10th finally arrived on the 22nd. Same collection centre, same destination, how could that be?

Another sent to Wales Tracked 24 left the distribution centre a week late, to South Midlands, only for it to be sent back to the originating mail centre 10 days later 🤦🏼‍♂️

Whilst Royal Fail have had to suffer industrial action, it doesn’t excuse the utter incompetence and clear lack of organisation of sorting and distributing public mail…

Well rant over, I could go on, but we all know the score and it won’t change the fact many of you didn’t receive your gifts/cards and festive goodies.

Here’s some of the things I’ve been printing for your amusement, using my workhorse the Anycubic Vyper and Geeetech A20M printers, and some of you have been kind enough to send photo’s of your prints!

Phew… these printers have been busy!

Some of your photos!

Merry Christmas 2022
